SMU broke a two game losing streak as they travelled to Tulsa and downed the Golden Hurricanes 3-2.  Tulsa jumped ahead in the 10th minute on a Jose Parada goal, but SMU equalized two minutes later through Josue Soto.  Fifteen minutes later SMU went ahead as Pana Vasquez scored his first career goal via a Dane Saintus assist.

The second half saw SMU gain some breathing room in the 62nd when Ryan Rosenbaum also notched his first career goal for the Mustangs on a long clearance from the top of his own penalty area that travelled 90 yards and bounced over the Tulsa keeper.  Tulsa grabbed one back late, but SMU held on for the impressive 3-2 victory.

The win moves SMU to 2-2-1 in Conference USA play while Tulsa falls to 3-1-1.  Next up for SMU is another road game, this time at Kentucky this weekend.
